Fervent, Forward-Thinking Developer

I love learning, making and building all things code and electronics. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out how something works and then designing and building my own version. I try to stay as current as I can with my skills, which can be demanding but is certainly rewarding. Being able to look at my previous projects and seeing ways they could be improved upon is a great feeling. That is why I could never coast through my career. Well that and the fear of someone complaining about maintaining my code. If I'm not at work or in my office, tinkering with Arduinos or reading a book about microservices, you could find me out on the golf course, playing my guitar, watching a Blackhawks game or just hanging out with friends and family.

I relocated to Seattle to take a position with Allrecipes.com. Here I've been working on a greenfield project. It consists of several microservices built using .NET Core and Node.JS all hosted on Azure PAAS offerings.

Rightpoint Consulting

I worked with a lot of smart and creative people making web and mobile applications for many different clients in a wide range of industries. Working at Rightpoint I have developed MVC, Angular, KnockoutJS, Windows Mobile and Xamarin applications, to name a few. I also started Rightpoint Labs, a club where employees could collaborate on fun and interesting projects. The first project we released wasPourcast. Check out what's on tap!
